Alberto Sánchez Colón

Registered Architect in Spain // Arquitecto

I am a recent M.A. Architecture graduate student from Granada University in Granada, Spain. I am a dedicated and enthusiastic professional combining a strong academic background with proficiency in the use of a range of software applications for design and administration purposes.

My main passion and occupation is Architecture and 3D graphic design as well as languages. During the last years, I had been working as an Architect Assistant in AurdaArquitectos architecture office and I had been working as a Freelancer while I was finishing my Master’s Degree in Architecture at the University of Granada, Spain.

During my time at AurdaArquitectos  architecture office I got a useful professional experience. The building types I have worked on include Residential, Commercial Retail, Educational and underground parkings. I am eager to learn how the business, the art, the craft and the regulations affect the profession and practice of architecture in Canada.

Apart from architecture, I relish learning and teaching languages. For the last three years I have taught English in school summer camps at Marbella and Granada, Spain. I order to improve my English I have traveled to Ireland and United Kingdom, spending three periods of four weeks there. Last summer I even did a four-week Arabic language course.

I am quite disciplined, loyal, punctual, flexible and a real team player. I would be willing to relocate in order to explore opportunities and gain experience. I believe I am a worthwhile investment as I have a number of strengths to offer. I am ready to make a long-term commitment

My computer capabilities include AutoCad 2013, 3Dstudio Max 2013 Vray 2.0, Revit 2013 Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign and Photoshop), Microsoft Office, CorelDraw and other PC-based programs.
